Nice of you to make your appearance just as the roof was about to cave in. Ray Allen erupted for a season high 36 points as the Celtics survived a late rally by the Toronto Raptors to win 94-85 in Toronto. Allen was 8-10 on his three point shots and hit on his first six. That must have obviously provided the spark this team so desperately needed.
With a 75-55 lead at the start of the fourth quarter you would think this game is over but Boston has been fading in the fourth for some reason and almost allowed the Raptors to steal this win.
Allen had four three pointers to bring Boston back from a 12-6 deficit and they led 32-30 after the 1st. At the half they led 54-41, game in hand right? Wrong. With 5 minutes left the Raptors brought themselves back in it trailing only 80-72 but this time the C's held firm and closed it out for the win. It seems when Allen doesn't play well, neither does the whole squad. Think about it..
