Paul Pierce on a bum knee scored 39 points as the Celtics won an overtime thriller to complete a sweep of the Raptors. His knee was hurt Sunday when he collided with teammate Brian Scalabrine. After the game he was ready for more, this man just loves to play some b-ball period."Actually I feel pretty good, I could have played another quarter I think", were Paul's word in the locker room.
Garnett did a fine job keeping Chris Bosh quiet in the last two quarters of play while adding 20 points and and 12 rebounds. Ray Allen was held in check in this game but had a couple of key shots one with two minutes left and a three pointer in overtime that weighed heavily in the outcome.
The bench played a major role in the victory while the C's were without the services of Tony Allen and Kendrick Perkins. Once this game hit overtime the C's were in full control and scored a team record 22 points and are now 4-0 against the Raptors this year.
