Eddie "Brought Down The " House scoring 28 points while hitting on eight three point shots leading his team to a 119-100 victory over the Sacramento Kings at the TD Banknorth Garden. To say he was hot is an understatement. He was 8-9 on his 3 point attempts and even had his teammates in awe of his performance." He needs to be in the 3 point contest" stated Kevin Garnett referring to the upcoming All-Star Game.
The C's simply trampled them in the 2nd quarter outscoring them 40-19 after a fairly even opening period. Rajon Rondo also proved to be a catalyst in this win scoring 24 himself to go along with nine assists. He seems to have figured it out this season and has been playing fantastic basketball.
"The big three" took a backseat in this contest and let the bench drive the cadillac and it was refreshing to them to see them perform so well. Garnett was good for 14 points and Ray Allen hit for 12 while Paul Pierce was unusually quiet tonight with 8 points. Even Glen "Big Baby" Davis had 14 points while the team put on an offensive clinic.
This was the ninth straight win for Boston and Tony Allen returned to the lineup after missing the last 11 games but unfortunately Brian Scalabrine will miss considerable action due to a concussion.

Tony Allen was a pleasant surprise during last night's action. TA needs to show the coaching staff and the front office exactly what he is made of if the 26 year old 2 guard has any shot of sticking with the team through the upcoming trade deadline.
It figures that Brian Scalabrine finally understands how to help this team and now he is this team's version of Patrice Bergeron (The Boston Bruins young star who has had a string of concussion problems). I fear that his roster spot could be in jeopardy depending on what happens come mid February, nonetheless, get better "Scally"!
