The latest on Amare Carsares Stoudemire trade speculation comes via NESB (You got it, that's US), before getting right down to it, here are other scoops on Stoudemire from SI.com, RealGM and The Star-Ledger. Before any of you pundits out there in front of your screens start tearing apart the following information on a possible Celtics/Stoudemire Connection, take a long look at the first official proposal from the Front Offices of the New Jersey Nets. The Nets are actually in the midst of a waiting period before Suns GM Steve Kerr gets back to them with an answer. The aforementioned waiting period will give Kerr a chance to sort and grade other offers that continue to pour in over the next 11 days leading up to the NBA Trade Deadline. The important piece of info to keep in mind is that Kerr must be entertaining at least some part of New Jersey's package that includes Yi Jianlian, Bobby Simmons, Ryan Anderson and a #1 in 2011 or he would have immediately declined the advances.
Thank you for remaining patient, we at New England Sports Blog have been reporting 'Daily Speculation' as we receive it throughout the last few months in regards to the potential Wheeling and dealings of the dealer himself, Danny Ainge and the teams we have been told he is having talks with. One of these teams just happens to be the Phoenix Suns who own the contractual rights to a few bodies that Ainge would like to see in green for the post February 18th Banner run, most notably Grant Hill and Matthew Barnes. With the recent emergence of Amare Stoudamire on the Phoenix, Arizona Trade Block, I went back to one of our NBA informants who so kindly shared the news of the original Pho./Bos. talks with me and asked him if Ainge had done his job by way of checking in on the Stoudemire option with the dazed and confused General Manager of the Phoenix Suns, Steve Kerr. My informant replied in the affirmative, in addition to the positive response I wanted to see he also texted something to the effect of "Danny wouldn't be reigning Executive of the Year in the NBA if he didn't at least broach the topic with his Phoenix counterpart".
This long shot of a deal could only take place two ways, the way with Ray Allen in the transaction or the way with half of our roster in the deal (In this theory "Ray-Ray" stays) leaving Ainge in a precarious position of quickly having to settle on a few free agents (peek at the Celtics Blog Poll on the right to view his options) to fill out the playoff roster that must be completed by March 1st. Is it likely that Ainge trades one of the current "Big Three" (Allen) while in mid pursuit of the second half of back to back championships, probably not. Will Ainge have to at some point between now and the Summer of 2010 have to address the status of Allen and the franchise changing or in the C's case the Big 3 changing free agent class of 2010, absolutely! Why not "back door 2010"? There is not a high probability of either of these trade scenarios playing out, but...
¤ Boston sends 2011 & 2013 First Rounders, Kendrick Perkins, Tony Allen, Bill Walker, Brian Scalabrine, Gabe Pruitt, J.R. Giddens, Semih Erden, Glen Davis and Patrick O' Bryant to Phoenix for Amare Stoudemire and Matt Barnes.
OR
¤ Boston sends Ray Allen, 2011 First Rounder and J.R. Giddens to Phoenix for Amare Stoudemire and Matt Barnes.
Both of the deals I posted above are on par with what the Nets initially offered the Suns for Stoudemire's services... If you want to argue or comment on the prior point, take a shot.
Before finishing up here take a look at one of my earlier Forum posts to find out who Danny may be parlaying smaller scale deals with.

The best case and easier said than done scenario would be making a move for a 5th star to go along with our "Fabulous Four" and have Ray resign for the 2 Million Bi-Annual in 10 so that we have a little change jingling in the pockets for the addition of a 6th star. Improbable only for those who don't allow themselves to dream. Many of those same pessimists I hint at never thought there would be a day when Kevin "The Big Ticket" Garnett would be employed by the Celtics of Boston.
