micheal_jacksonLong live the King of Pop. He passed away on June 25 2009 but left an uprecedented legacy that will be unmatched forever. Thank you for the joy you have brought to millions through your music and charitable work. Our deepest sympathies go out to the Jackson family.

We are a world in mourning right now.

August 28th, 1963. This day would be imbedded into the minds of many; young, old, wealthy, poor, none of which mattered at that time. Instead, everyone gathered as one and witnessed nothing short of an historic event.

“I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal."

The ever so famous words that Martin Luther King spoke of would represent a turning point for Americans worldwide. In a time where African Americans did not have nearly the benefits as their fellow citizens, King spoke on hope, and promise. Since then we have seen monumental change in our society as, like King said; “We are created equal.” It now does not matter what color your skin is, where you are from, or how much money you make. Because, in fact, we are all equally visible, with equal rights, and an equal opportunity to be successful.

We have appointed our first African American governor right here in Massachusetts, We have recently made history with President Obama, and we have sent our first African American National Football League coach to the Hall of Fame in 2005. We have overcome doubters, as a Nation who at one point in time did not bother looking the other way, to a Nation, that is now one.

For me, black history month, purely shows the growth of our Nation and the words of one man. It shows me that anyone can achieve anything they put their mind to. It shows me that any one person can make a difference. It shows the strength of many, the fight of some, and the perseverance of others. But, most importantly of all, it shows the love that we all have for each other.

Black, white, green, purple, or yellow, none of which matter. Because at the end of the day, we are all one. We are all equal.

Bio Pic "Notorious" Does Justice To Fallen Rap Legend Biggie Smalls PDF Print

biggieIt's rare that a rapper can come straight out of the box and create arguably one of the greatest Hip Hop albums of all time. That's exactly what Biggie Smalls (Government Name is Christopher Wallace) did with the classic "Ready to Die" CD in 1993. Every track on that joint is a banger and if you put it on today it stands the test of time and is better than most of what is blaring through sound systems today. No disrespect to "Lil Wayne", T -Pain and others but that compilation makes the hairs stand up on the back of your neck. Aside from the commercial cut "Juicy" that album delivers and put him on the map quicker than you can say Biggie. That 1st album made him a superstar and a couple of chart topping singles such as "One More Chance" and "Who Shot Ya" catapulted him into the stratosphere of  Hip Hop along with the other artist whom I consider the greatest of all time being Tupac Shakur.

National Enquirer Gives Micheal Jackson Six Months To Live PDF Print

Loose change is somehow fitting for this article. A puzzling and horrific story about Micheal Jackson, "Wacko Jacko" to some has been posted on Scandalist .com stating that the singer is suffering from a lethal lung disease and may have only six months to live. The messages left on the website by people range from stoic, to thoughtful prayers and well wishers to downright disgusting and disturbing hateful postings about the singer.

Yes people have mixed emotions about the King Of Pop who brought joy to millions with his sheer artistry of musical genius and dancing that defied the laws of gravity. He is an incredible musician for sure but to some he is nothing but a child molester.

He was found innocent in the courts of justice but guilty in the courts of public opinion. He was unhappy with his appearance and it is documented that his own family taunted him as a child calling him "Big Nose" and his ascent to megastar status allowed him to do whatever he wanted to himself, and maybe to others? I must admit to being a huge fan of the star as a child and I still admire what he has accomplished in his career but I am puzzled by the accusations of molestation and self hate. I don't want to believe it's true but on the other hand if you are innocent , you don't pay out millions just for silence. You fight if someone tries to stain your name. We must acknowledge that depending on how much money you have, can determine what kind of justice you receive.

I personally hope the rumors are untrue for the troubled and tortured soul that is Micheal Jackson. You can decide how you feel about him yourselves. I just put my cards on the table so feel free to post your thoughts on this painful subject of truth if you believe he is guilty or not. I do believe it is not appropriate to wish death on any human being, I believe that is something that if you do feel you should keep to yourself. The world can be ugly enough and yes I do feel suspicion of his guilt and for that he is a very sick individual.

mike_blackHe has transformed himself  from an African American man to lookingmicheal_jackson_white like an elderly frail Caucasian woman. It is frightening. If only he could "Have One More Chance,1 2 3 let me...back in your heart"! I'm afraid it's too late.
