Rumor has it that the Red Sox may be changing their logo. The beloved "B" that has graced their hats and helmets for decades may be a thing of the past. I started watching the Sox in "76 and when they changed their red and blue caps to just blue it took me awhile to get used to it. Let alone their blah grey road uniforms of the 1980's, those were truly disgusting. I'm all for change but we are going to have to see this new logo for ourselves. I hope they put a fan vote on it.
I can't believe something so insignificant as this has me worried. I guess I love this team that much. Our Co-owner and web manager Bob Day broke this story in our 24/7 news section and my heart just dropped. What can they possibly do, put the two red stockings on the caps.
Honestly it took me a few years to warm up to these uniforms with the red stripes down the front so what's next. The Patriots needed a uniform change and they got it right. Let's hope for the same with the Red Sox. Be afraid, be very afraid.

It's not just uniforms and logos, it's everything. If they think they look too well off, they try to look poor, if they're poor, they try to look rich. If they're not "muscling up", they're "trimming down." If they're not growing something, they're shaving it off. If they think they look too old, they are trying to look younger. If they think they look too young, they are trying to look older. I don't think there's a woman or man in my part of town that hasn't had one new face, two different chests, three different noses, four new lips and five wardrobe changes in the last six months. Apparently, it's what's hot! [rolls eyes]
